Kinh Vu, Ph.D., is an Assistant professor at Boston University's School of Music who teaches undergraduate and graduate music education and conducting courses. His research interests include music education as it relates to orphans, refugees, land rights, social justice, and structural-personal violence. About two years ago, Jane Money and Kinh met to discuss how or in what form justice emerges in the lives of musicians who perform in Boston City Singers. In an effort to further explore this topic, Kinh will be accompanying us on Tour to study why or how participation in the choir is important to singers, and by extension, to their families, and to the choir's leadership.

Kinh has been visiting the choir's rehearsals and concerts for the past two years. Recently, he has been more involved as the choir prepares for the journey to South Africa. We look forward to having Kinh on tour!

Kinh (TK) Vu, PhD.
