Hello from Cape Town!

We are ecstatic to be in South Africa! We arrived yesterday evening after a night in Dubai. When we got to Cape Town we were all REALLY tired and longing for a bed, but we couldn’t help being taken by Cape Town’s beauty. The drive around Table Mountain was exciting, and finally arriving at the Noodhooek Outdoor Center was such a wonderful relief. We felt that we were finally home. At Noordhoek, we were greeted by Naomi and Theo—the grounds keepers, and also by Salome, Bonnie, and Michelle who cooked such a delicious dinner for us. After dinner, we had a short meeting about our house rules, as well as room assignments and daily tasks assignments. By the end of the meeting, we we are ready for bed.
